Executive Director of Operations responsible for the transformation and delivery of an existing operations scheme to a new customer-focused, high demand 24Hr civilian Flight Training and Simulation Centre, as well as oversight and management of two Military Flight Simulators. Key change areas were Customer Support and Service Delivery, Engineering and Maintenance standards, Operational effectiveness and Business Readiness Planning. Additionally, development and improvement of turnkey Project Delivery methods and practices, as well as the improvement, implementation, and management of connected processes and strategies across a range of departments including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Engineering, IT and HR providing connected end to end services and operations.

Oil & Gas

Director and Head of Operations & Service for two major Oil & Gas Companies dealing in Automation Control and Process Equipment, consulting with an extensive team located in the UK and EMEA. Key areas of focus included strategic business positioning and development. Field service and engineering leadership, project delivery, and operational support consultancy. Leadership and direction for the business units Profit & Loss figures, with a focus on growth and development of Project and Service Delivery within the European territories and wider afield, with combined annual services revenues of £80M. 

Engineering Manager, for the management and design/maintenance of two mission-critical submarine electronic surveillance and countermeasures (ESM/ECM) systems as fitted to the Royal Navy nuclear and nuclear ballistic submarines, Vanguard and Hunter killer class. Key focuses were the rapid deployment of technical support during Urgent Operational Requirements as well as Routine Operational Maintenance delivery across the submarine fleet. Additional responsibilities included Project Engineering Management for a Command and Navigation system for Royal Navy logistic support vessels. A similar system for the South Korean Navy across a fleet of eight minehunters was engineered & managed by myself (both UK and onsite in Korea)


Service & Operations Manager in charge of a multidiscipline engineering and the administrative team dealing with the support, service, maintenance, and installation of high dependency power, computer, & utility systems. A customer-facing role in the provision of 24-hour support to mission-critical applications. Systems ranged from small to very large UPS, Generators, & full online data centers and data suites. This role involved the reshaping and the re-organization of the engineering support department in enabling the smooth and effective running of a busy and time-challenged business unit.  Focuses on this position were to provide a structured and methodical approach to support, so enabling growth, control, and effective support.
